My third year in University, I studied abroad in Santiago, Chile to challenge my self at the furthest choice possible at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
While doing some volunteer work in Peru, I was impacted by the educational inequality that existed in the region and the impact of education it self, which is when I started Educate For, a non-profit organization based in Trujillo, Peru to combat educational inequality. Educate For still works in the area working with hundreds of Children through programs to promote STEM science, leadership, art, music, and english.
The same year, in 2019 I saw an opportunity in the sustainable market and started Just Smile with my Belgium business partner, where I also launched a second brand, tidal green to be able to create sustainable alternatives to every day products while supporting youth artists and organizations.
After graduating University, I came back to Chile to start my Fintech startup WAYVX with the objective to democratize access to capital through decentralized technology. There, we worked and piloted with various start-ups, real estate agencies, while working with government agencies and the Santiago Stock Exchange.
In 2020, I joined Kaufmann Ventures or güil Mobility Ventures as a Business Specialist to support the growth of a startup of the company builder, but in 2021 joined core team leading the VC area as a VC Specialist to develop the investment thesis while scouting and analyzing start-ups.
Right now, I’m actively working at güil, designing a new model for the corporate venture while helping other start-ups with mentorship and consultancy, while developing my next startup right as we speak.
Overall, I love technology, I love innovation and I’m passionate about the impact I have. How can I make this world a more inclusive place for people and for creatures? How can I live more green and lower my carbon footprint on this world? How can I empower more young girls and women to become leaders so that our voices represent decision making tables?
